Jean-Yves Lemoigne’s photography is beautiful, surreal and sometimes downright cooky, but the latest addition to his portfolio is PIXXXEL for the 3rd issue of Amusement Magazine. Although these are stunning and technically superb, pixelating things I usually do by mistake, there are many more images on his website that use more traditional practices that are just as successful…

I have been a fan of Terry Richardson for ages, ever since I was embarrassed at opening his book in front of my mum, but it struck a note with me. I love the real style of photography that is so refreshing in Terrys work miles away from the standard polished and pho-shoped versions we see so often in magazines and adverts. Which is why is great to see lil’ wayne being shot by Terry, as Lil Wayne is in an medium that has become synonymous with falseness. I am not saying Lil Wayne is fake I honestly think he is one of the realest rappers to make the main stream in a long time, I am a fan, but in a industry of one-upmanship and excessive lifestyles, 200G chains and 50 inch wheels, its nice to see such raw images. Anyway the images speak for themselves and if you want to read the interview you can here . Anyway what ever you think of Lil Wayne or Terry you have got to appreciate those tattoos…

15 years ago Nigo (A Bathing Ape) opened a tiny shop in Harajuku Tokyo called NOWHERE. During that first year was when Nigo launched the now world famous A Bathing Ape. NOWHERE will now be opening its doors again for a limited time in Londons Dover Street Market from 17th January 2009 selling A Bathing Ape products and exclusive products made by Nigo and Jun Takahashi (Undercover and co-founder of NOWHERE) together under the NOWHERE name. NIGO will be signing books down at NOWHERE in DSM on Friday 16th from 7pm, but be sharp because as in true NIGO fashion there are only 100 books to go round..
